The committee for the 4th Aceh Surgery Update International Conference 2021 invited colleagues to participate in a free paper which would be presented in the form of an Oral Presentation (Podium) or Poster. By sending scientific papers or case studies in the field of surgery, disaster management, and health-related issues.

PROVISIONS FOR ABSTRACT WRITING AND PRESENTATION OF FREE PAPERS

A. GENERAL TERMS

  1. Free paper carriers must register and pay the full registration fee as a participant
  2. The schedule for the podium/poster presentation will only be notified after the paper carrier is registered as a participant
  3. Accepted free papers will be notified by the 19th February 2021 by email
  4. The included free paper has never been presented in other scientific activities before
  5. The decision of the winner is final and cannot be contested
  6. Free papers submitted must be free from any plagiarism elements
  7. Other provisions that have not been covered will be notified later

B. TERMS OF ABSTRACT WRITING

  1. Abstract typed in good and correct Indonesian using Microsoft Word on A4 paper size, Times New Roman font size 12, and a maximum number of 300 words
  2. Head of cultural abstract: author’s name (anonymous)
  3. The abstract components of the case report include background, word description, and  keywords
  4. Abstract components of scientific research / scientific articles include background, methodology, research, results, and keywords
  5. The deadline for submitting abstracts is no later than 15th  February 2021 through the website www.acehsurgeryupdate.com or by email acehsurgeryupdateIC2021@gmail.com.
  6. Paper bearers are not allowed to suggest the presentation format that is delivered
  7. Please put the following code on the file name: Oral Presentation, Poster
  8. The committee will notify the final presentation format decision to each participant via email.

C. TERMS OF PRESENTATION PODIUM (ORAL PRESENTATION)

  1. Presenters of papers are required to prepare structured slides (ppt) that can be presented within 10 minutes. Paper presenters will be given the opportunity for a 5-minute question and answer session.
  2. Paper bearers are required to submit presentation slides no later than 6 hours before the presentation schedule set by the committee
  3. Please ensure that the slide/animation/video and sound can work properly
  4. Presenters of papers must be in the designated presentation room no later than 15 minutes before the start of the session
  5. Paper carrier certificate will only be given to/on behalf of the presenter
  6. All paper will be presented online via ZOOM with screen shared feature

D. TERMS OF POSTER PRESENTATION

  1. After the committee sends the poster presentation/presentation schedule, the paper carrier is expected to immediately send the poster in pdf format via email acehsurgeryupdateIC2021@gmail.com
  2. Posters can be submitted to the committee at the Poster Counter no later than 24 hours before the scheduled broadcast
  3. The recommended writing font is Times New Roman with a size of 24
  4. Make sure the figures or tables are clear and easy to read
  5. Please do not include video or sound in the Poster
  6. Paper carrier certificate will only be given to/on behalf of the presenter
  7. All paper will be presented online via ZOOM with screen shared feature

E. SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS

The E-Proceeding Abstract will be published on the day of the symposium online with E-ISSN and DOI numbers by Bali Medical Journal

Scientific Articles (full paper) will be included in the Bali Medical Journal publish by DyscoverSys, which is indexed by SCOPUS/ESCI/SINTA 1/Web of Science (additional fees apply of IDR 5.000.000, for each scientific article received, conditions and conditions apply)
